Description

Full Name: Asukai; Shinya [Center of the Sky; Late at Night] 飛鳥井; 深夜

Personality:

Shinya's personality can be described as charming and promiscuous, even in his youth.

He's a little naive and tends to say things way above his age group's typical understanding,
often of a perverted nature. However, his confidence often allows him to get away with it.
However, in stark contrast, Shinya can come off as haughty or arrogant when he's angry,
often using language much more rude than one would expect from such a young Asukai.
Ever since the forced divorce of his parents, Shinya has gained a bit of an attention complex,
and enjoys getting into trouble because it puts him in the spotlight, even if it is negatively.

"Hey Hisako, you walkin' home? I'll walk with you."
"Ladies, please! Control your Orgasms."
"Listen, okay? Good! Now, shut up and go away."

From an early age, Shinya has been particularly proficient in Calligraphy and Conversation.
He also enjoys contact sports such as Kendo and Judo, though he's still a bit of a novice in those.
Shinya tends to get quiet when it comes to talking about the Asukai, or his parents in particular,
as he's been doing his best to repress what happened to his mother and not think long about it.

Even at a young age, he has a deep resentment for Main House Asukai and Kitsune.

Hobbies: Calligraphy, Poetry, Tea Ceremony, Flirting, Kendo, Brushing his hair.

Mannerisms: Running his fingers through his beautiful hair.

Likes: Dango, Kisses, Nice Clothes, Attention, Himself, Lightning, Mirrors, Winter.

Dislikes: Main House, Animals, Kitsune, BETA MALES (most men who aren't him)

Inspirations: Asukai no Yamato, Asukai no Yuu.

Life Goals: Date every cute girl (but only the cute ones!)

Backstory:

While Shinya was popular with girls, most of his Academy years were actually somewhat lonely,
as neither of the Asukai Houses wanted to spend time with him due to his status as a Tainted Branch.
However, he did make a few close friends such as Hisako, who taught him the basics of Kenjutsu,
and Tsurugi, his step-cousin whom Yomise introduced him to so he'd have someone to play with.

When Shinya was 11 years old, Bloodline purists in the Asukai clan assulted his mother and father,
leaving his mother blind and his father crippled. The clan also heavily pressured them both to Divorce,
often using threats against Shinya's wellbeing as leverage. Eventually they did in order to protect him,
from then on, Shinya lived with his father in the Branch Compound, banned from the Main House Castle.

Despite them being officially divorced, Toshiya and Kaoru have been secretly meeting outside the village.
